Bon’App Leverages Nuance Speech Technology To facilitate You discover Healthy Food Choices.

Bon’App is the latest mobile application that is leveraging Nuance Communications’ Dragon Mobile software growth kit (SDK) for highly developed voice capabilities. The iPhone app, created by Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative Fellow

, Laurent Adamowicz, wants to update the way you both think and search for the types of food that you use. Adamowicz wanted to make it as simple as possible to search for food options, which is why he put his request through the Nuance Mobile Developer Center.
“The Nuance Mobile Developer Program’s success lies in part with the fact that almost any developer can voice-enable any app – and in a matter of days,” said Matt Revis, vice leader of product management and marketing, Nuance Mobile
Adamowicz developed the application with a team of Harvard graduate students in order to provide a “nutritionist in your pocket” by incorporating advice from medical professional, dietitians, and nutritionists. The information collected will be used to help you find well options around you.
All you have to do is speak “chicken” or whatever food you might crave, and the app will assist you in pooling a group of local hotels that serve it. The app will also offer a list of nutritional facts so you have the choice of picking the healthiest selection. in addition, if you have favorite recipes that you want to store digitally, just speak them into the Bon’App application and carry it around with you for easy access.
